Maximal prison sentences for the crime at Ovcara
The Trial Chamber of the Court for War Crimes in Belgrade yesterday ruled maximal prison sentenced against 14 individuals, members of Vukovar territorial defense and voluntary unit called Leva Supoderica, for killing of 200 Croatian prisoners at Ovcara Farm in November 1991. Nine of them got maximal prison sentences of twenty years. Three of them were sent to 15 years in prison, one to 12 years, one to 9 years and one to five years in prison. Two individuals were released due to no evidence.
