Journalist shot in Montenegro
A journalist with Podgorica daily newspaper Vijesti was wounded by a gunman in the Montenegrin capital on Tuesday evening.
Journalist Olivera Lakic was shot in the leg in front of her building, Vijesti Director Zeljko Ivanovic told N1, adding that a single shot was fired. “This was a classic ambush,” he said.
Ivanovic said this was not the first time she was attacked.

Eyewitnesses said that a man came up to her, shot her in the leg and fled with two other men. Doctors confirmed that her life was not in danger. Journalists from other Montenegrin media gathered in front of the hospital she was taken to, Vijesti reported on its web site.
