Israel – Palestine: A Time for War, and a Time for Peace
Last month we commemorated the 45th anniversary of the Israel-Egypt peace treaty. But how we can celebrate peace when the war took over our lives? Given the current disastrous circumstances, this represented a solemn moment to delve deeply into the intricate web of challenges and opportunities that define the pursuit of peace and security in our troubled region, the Holy Land, Israel and Palestine, which was indeed blessed, but with blood. Recent events in Gaza have once again thrust the urgent need for a political solution to the protracted Israeli-Palestinian conflict into the forefront of our collective consciousness.
