IMF's Sosa: New formula for pension calculation next year
The Resident International Monetary Fund (IMF) representative in Belgrade said the formula according to which the pensions were increased before the crisis has not been abolished but that the new one which will be applied as of 2020 will be introduced the next year.
Sebastian Sosa explained that the budget won't have sufficient funds for another increase in pensions during the next year, once they are increased now.

The IMF said the new formula would be improved and every new pension increase in the future would have to be linear for all pensioners.
Serbia's Minister for Regional Development, Milan Krkobabic, said on Saturday that the formula to calculate pensions was grounded on the law and must exist, but that it requires a consensus of all social factors.
