Huge Serbian Flag Raised At Nikola Tesla Airport
A huge Serbian state flag measuring 72 square meters was raised on Wednesday at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla airport.
"As the gateway to Belgrade and to Serbia, the airport has joined the state initiative to revive the cult of the flag. And as you can see the flag is imposing, 12 meters long and six meters wide and raised on a pole 25 meters high,” airport executive director Senka Jelenkovic said.
Media reports said that three other flags of similar size were raised at two other places on the airport: across from the control tower, at the customs storage facility and near the runway.
