Goran Nava ended his career, but he did not qualify for the finals!
After Tamara Salaski and Dusan Mikevic, the third Serbian athletes failed to qualify for the final of the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade during the afternoon program!
Goran Nava ran qualifications on 1.500 meters for 3.48.83 and took sixth place in his group. He is in 13th place in total. That is too bad considering that he started well and that he kept up for a while.
- I'm glad that I was part of this great story. I'm very proud of Serbia, we hosted such a spectacle. >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu Telegraf.rs << This is my final race of my career, but I hope that I may stay in athletics as a coach in the future - said Nava.
Let us recall, two of the best from four groups are going to the finals, plus three of the fastest.
Earlier during the day Amela Terzic and Lazar Anic provided a place in the finals in their respective disciplines.
