Fabrizi: Donation to help with natural disasters
The consequences of natural disasters can be prevented, European Delegation chief Sem Fabrizi said on Monday at a ceremony at which he handed hi tech mapping equipment to the Serbian Defence Ministry.
Fabrizi said there is a strategic way to benefit and prevent any future climate change consequences around the world and recalled that the EU donated 172 million Euros to Serbia following devastating floods in 2014.
Our priority is prevention, Fabrizi said adding that >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << the EU Delegation provided aid to 51 municipalities hit by flooding as well as 150,000 people whose lives were affected by natural disasters.
The equipment donated to the Defence Ministry is a set of hi tech mapping tools intended to help draw up risk-prevention maps. Serbian Defence minister Aleksandar Vulin said that any type of investment in the military will improve the future of the Serbian nation.
