Energy minister says Serbia ready for winter
Energy Minister Aleksandar Antic said on Friday that all the central heating plants in Serbia are ready for the winter.
All 60 central heating plants in the country have completed maintenance and stored sufficient quantities of fuels for the winter, the minister told the Serbian state TV (RTS) during a tour of the heating facilities in Belgrade.
“There is enough gas, the Banatski Dvor storage facility is full and the necessary amounts of oil and coal are being prepared for the heating plants which use those types of fuels,” Antic said.
