Draft amendments to the constitution finished
Serbia’s Justice Ministry has finished drafting changes to the country’s Constitution, the minister said.
Justice Minister Nela Kuburovic told Italian diplomat and former European Commissioner Franco Frattini that the draft would be submitted to the Venice Commission for review at its session in June.
The draft includes “certain views” given to the Justice Ministry during the public debate on changes to the Constitution, Kuburovic said and voiced hope that the final draft, including Venice Commission recommendations, will be submitted to parliament by the end of the year.
