Delta Holding bidding for Belgrade’s Sava Centre
Serbian businessman Miroslav Miskovic’s Delta Holding said on Friday that it will take part in the negotiations on a public-private partnership to reconstruct Belgrade’s Sava Congress Centre.
"Delta Holding will be a constructive partner to the city of Belgrade in finding the best solution for the Sava Centre,” the Beta news agency was told by the company.
Belgrade’s Deputy Mayor Goran Vesic said on Thursday that Delta’s offer for a strategic partnership in >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << managing the centre had been refused because of faulty paperwork but added that the negotiations would be continued while Delta Holding representatives said that they had been told by the city authorities that the paperwork submitted at tender was fine.
Delta Holding was passed on into the second stage of the tender for the reconstruction of Sava Centre which includes an investment of at least 12.5 million Euros and a business plan for a 10-year period. Under the tender, a joint company would be set up with the city authorities holding 51 percent of its shares and the private partner owning the remaining 49 percent with the city investing property and the partner investing money.
A tender for a strategic partner for Sava Centre was called in 2016 but failed to attract any binding offers.
