Defence minister: security being monitored across Serbia
The security situation in all of Serbia is being carefully monitored with no indications of anything negative happening, Serbian Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin said on Monday, adding that President Aleksandar Vucic’s order to the military to raise combat readiness was still in force.
“We have no indications of any kind of upset nor of anything negative happening but we always have to make sure of that at every moment in everywhere part of our territory whether that is Bujanovac, >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Presevo, Medvesja, Novi Sad or Vranje", the minister said.
He added that “all competent services are monitoring the security situation and that the order to raise combat readiness remains in force”.
Vulin said that the president wants the military to maintain its higher level of combat readiness until the situation in Kosovo is perfectly clear, without any threats to the security of the Serbs living there.
