DANGEROUS DISEASE spreads over Serbia through HOOKAH!

Institute of Public Health instructed a sanitation control of the object near high school in Novi Pazar where sever students got sick with tuberculosis, and fire more were held for further examinations. 

After the latest information, the number of the sick students of the third grade of high school in Novi Pazar jumped up to seven and five students are on observation in tertiary health facilities, reports sadnzacke.rs.

It was marked that the Institute for Public Health, and the department of lung diseases in General hospital did all they could and timely reacted. The fact is concerning that the number of infected of tuberculosis in Novi Pazar is still growing compared to the other cities in Serbia, said Dr Dragan Ilic, director of the Institute for Public Health of Serbia "Batut".

- Tuberculosis is not rooted out. The number of the number of sick is in constant decline in Serbia, but unfortunately, there are places where lung tuberculosis present serious problem, and one of those places is Novi Pazar, which records over 50 new cases every year - pointed out Dr Ilic.

The main suspect of spreading the disease among the high schoolers are blamed to be hookah clubs. Hookah (narguile) has become very popular, and mostly young enjoy in automatized tobacco.

From Institute of Public Health from Novi Pazar that they will yet to determine the way sickness transferred, and sanitary control has been instructed of the clubs, restaurants and coffee shops near the school. Students, even thou they get a new mouthpiece, they do not replace, but use the same one, and the pipe of hookah contains different kinds of microbes due to lack of hygiene maintenance, among other, tuberculous microbe, which is transferred to other people.
