Belgrade students stay in Spain, parent says Some 150 Belg
A group of 150 students who set off for an excursion to Spain two days ago and were about to come back home, would stay after an agency paid a hotel, for six instead of seven days, a parent told N1 on Saturday.
Students of the Ninth Belgrade Gymnasium and several other high schools arrived in Lloret de Mar, Spain, on Friday but could not check into the hotel they were supposed to be staying at, as the tourist agency which organised the trip never made a payment.

Before they were to go back to Belgrade, the B2R agency paid the hotel, and the students were let to continue the excursion, one of the parents said.
The payment came after Serbia’s Tourism Minister, Rasim Ljalic, said that the B2R tourist agency would lose it’s licence because it deceived the students.
The Education Ministry said a history professor organised the excursion on her own and that the school was not responsible for the development.
It added that the professor who organised the trip would face a disciplinary procedure.
