Belgrade honours Sajmiste concentration camp victims
Holocaust Remembrance Day was marked in Belgrade on Sunday at the memorial to the World War II genocide victims.
The event was attended by those who survived concentration camps, members of the victims’ families, representatives of Jewish communities of Serbia, Roma ethnic minority, diplomats and citizens.
The state-sponsored ceremony was led by the Serbia’s Minister of Labour, Employment, Veterans’ and Social Issues Zoran Djordjevic.
