Belgrade dismisses Gendarmerie chief
Colonel Goran Dragovic, the head of Serbia’s Gendarmes’ elite police unit, was dismissed from the post on Tuesday and would start a diplomatic career, N1 reported.
Dragovic has commanded the Gendarmerie since 2015. Before that, he was the head of the Anti-Terrorist unit from 205-2007.
His replacement has not been named.
