Belgrade – IMF on first results of new reforms

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation met with Serbia’s central bank’s team in Belgrade on Monday to discuss the results of a new programme of macroeconomic and structural reforms supported by PCI-Policy Coordination Instrument, the Beta news agency reported.

The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) governor and the head of Belgrade delegation Jorgovanka Tabakovic and James Roaf, the head of the IMF mission in Serbia are expected to analyse the current economic, monetary >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << and fiscal situation in the country, as well as the macroeconomic projections for the next year.

The PCI-Policy Coordination Instrument which the IMF approved for Serbia in July is an advisory programme and does not include either IMF funds or costs for Serbia.

It’s agreed for 30 months, with five six-month analysis of the results.
