Atanasijevic admitted crime at Ovcara
Accused Ivan Atanasijevic is the first from a group of Vukovar Territorial Defense to admit to have taken part in the war crime committed at Ovcara Farm in November 1991.
After 20 months of court trial, Atanasijevic yesterday changed his statement before the Trial Chamber for War Crimes of the District Court in Belgrade and admitted to have killed one prisoner of war because he had been forced to do so.
'I was completely shocked. I have not seen anything like that in a movie. There were some many dead bodies on one place', Atanasijevic said.
