Njene fotke nisu obrađene do neprepoznatljivosti, nisu provučene kroz hiljade filtera i - i dalje su lepe. Baš kao što i treba da budu.
Iskra Lorens, plus sajz manenka, uzdrmala je svet mode kad je pobila tezu da je "mršavo jednako lepo". Danas, ona je uzor devojkama širom sveta a samo na Instagramu prati je 4,1 milion ljudi. Zašto? Zato što je lepa, simpatična i vedra, i zato što odbija da se povinuje trendovima.
Ona se neumorno zalaže za to da žene počnu >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu Mondo << da prihvataju svoje telo bez obzira na "oblik" i "veličinu", a sad je na Instagramu objavila fotku na kojoj pozira u bikiniju, uz moćnu poruku.
I’m self made because even when I was dropped for being to curvy and also told I was too small to be a plus-size model I didn’t take no for an answer then spent the last 14 years getting to where I am now - surviving my Eating Disorder and challenging the need to retouch, moving to NY on my own with some money I’d saved up and creating the life I dreamt of on my own. Just because you get hundreds of no’s or people who don’t believe in you - never stop believing in yourself. Even if your family aren’t rich, connected or famous - doesn’t mean you can’t make it, you just have to hustle even harder. Even if people laugh in your face, if you believe you can do it, chase your dreams. The harder it is to get there the more rewarding it will be. Use even the negative energy to fuel your drive and passion. Celebrate the small victories and learn lessons from your mistakes and failures. Self made doesn’t have a single definition.... if you’re a single parent working your a$$ off at work and at home you’re self made. If your starting your own business tryna get it off the ground you’re self made. If you made it through high school or just starting a new course you’re self made. It’s time to not just celebrate what we are told or shown as success but celebrating ourselves and everyone around us. What makes YOU Self Made? Lepa dvadesetsedmogodišnjakinja izgleda srećno, zdravo i samouvereno, pozirajući u majušnom kupaćem kostimu, a uz fotografiju je napisala da je "uspela sama", jer čak i kad su je odbili jer je imala "prevelike obline" da bi uspela u svetu mode, a opet je bila "suviše sitna" da bi bila plus-sajz model, "nije prihvatila ne kao odgovor"… "Nisam prihvatila ne kao odgovor, i provela sam prethodnih 14 godina, radeći na tome da dođem ovde gde sam danas - boreći se sa poremećajem u ishrani i protiv potrebe za retuširanjem, preselila sam se u Njujork sa malom ušteđevinom i stvorila sebi život o kakvom sam sanjala."
"Ni ako stotinu puta čujete 'ne' od ljudi koji ne veruju u vas, ne smete pretati da verujete u sebe. Čak i ako ne dolazite iz bogate porodice, ako nemate veze i niste poznati, to ne znači da ne možete da uspete. Samo ćete morati više da se potrudite", napisala je ona.

Spot the difference . The 1st pic on the left is me. The REAL me. No editing, posted up the pic exactly how it was when I took it. Pic no.2 on the right well this is the FaceTuned version of me. I want to know what you think I edited, comment below!!! It only took me about 2mins to edit myself - even saying that makes me feel... ** I wanted to keep the pic somewhat natural looking ♀️ because this is what’s all over the gram (subtle editing) and images you’re consuming every single day everywhere you look. And without a side by side like this many people believe that this is how people look “naturally” And for me social media is the most damaging place where images are made to look ‘real and candid’ but in reality 100 pics were taken and then they were photoshopped or FaceTuned. So your scrolling through daily thinking am I meant to look like this? ABSOLUTELY NOT. THE REAL YOU IS GOOD ENOUGH❗️ We can not compare ourselves to unrealistic images. We can not compare our real selves to photoshop or Facetune. We can not compare our real lives to the Instagram versions. We can not compare ourselves to seemingly perfect relationships we see online. We can not compare ourselves to each other full stop. Because we can never be anyone else but ourselves and that’s what makes us special. You can see the beauty in others as well as the beauty within yourself. The real you is good enough so let’s start celebrating that and know that Facetune or photoshop will not make you happier or more confident. Finding the things you can be grateful for and love about yourself will.

"Na slici sa leve strane sam ja. PRAVA ja. Bez obrade, fotografiju sam objavila baš kakva jeste. Na slici sa desne strane, je 'FaceTuned' verzija mene… I bilo mi je potrebno svega dva minuta da se 'sredim'. Želela sam da ostane donekle prirodna, jer je ta suptilna obrada fotografija svuda oko nas, i slike vidite gde god da pogledate", napisala je ona.
"A ako nemate sa čim da uporedite tu fotografiju, lako je poverovati da ljudi stvarno tako izgledaju 'prirodno'. I onda je lako zapitati se da li bi trebalo tako da izgledate. NARAVNO DA NE BI. Ono što stvarno jeste je više nego dovoljno dobro", poručuje Iskra.
