This year's EXIT music festival will gather many famous artists and Jamaican star Grace Jones will be among them
Grace Beverly Jones, a Jamaican singer, songwriter, supermodel, record producer, and actress, will be among many artists taking part in this year’s EXIT festival in Serbia’s northern city of Novi Sad.
Jones, 69, is widely considered the pioneer of the avant-guard art and high fashion as world’s trends. She is a row model to music stars such as Madonna, >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Lady Gaga and Rihanna. Vogue magazine described Jones as “an ultimate fashion muse”, while the “Rolling Stone” defined her as “ irresistible artist, fashion icon and symbol”.
During the EXIT festival from July 12 to 15, at the Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi sad, apart from Jones, public will see and hear many world’s music stars such as: Migos, David Guetta, Ziggy Marley, Fever Ray, LP, Alice Merton, Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer b2b Ida Engberg, Maceo Plex, Solomun, Amelie Lens, Ben Klock, Jax Jones, Ofenbach, Mahmut Orhan, Carl Craig, Tale of Us, Sevdaliza, Asian Dub Foundation, Elderbrook, Burak Yeter, Madball, Brujeria, Ofenbach, Slapshot, Cockney Rejects, Dog Eat Dog, Slaves, Idles…
EXIT is an award-winning international summer music festival, officially proclaimed the “Best Major European festival” at the EU Festival Awards, one of the most prestigious in the world, in Groningen in January 2014, while its sea edition Sea Dance won the “Best Mid-Sized European festival” Award in 2015.
It started in 2000, as a students’ movement on the eve of political changes in the then Serbia and the ouster of its strongman late SlobodanMilosevic.
