“The directorate has ordered the suspension of the air traffic controller and has instructed the Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services Flight Control Directorate (SMATSA) to conduct a review of the controllers skills to determine if he is qualified to continue in the job,” Directorate official in charge of licensing air traffic controllers Zarko Katancevic said, adding that a decision on lifting the suspension or not will be taken following the review.
