Serbia has two good prerequisites to become the CENTRE OF CHINESE INVESTMENTS

President of the center for research in government of Peoples Republic of China expressed hope that Serbia will be the center of Chinese investments adding that there are two basic prerequisites. First being a good location, and second, good international understanding.

- First, to be the center of regional development, i thing the market is very important, actually the location and the contact with other economies. Second, I would like to add, for Chinese companies it is important to better understand Serbian people and meet their companies.

- Mutual understanding is critical moment for encouraging economic integration and cooperation in the future - said Wai, who stays in Belgrade and will meet the president of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic and Prime Ministar Aleksandar Vucic.

He added that deciding about the center of investigation is very complicated and it is connected with the regional economic development, so many cities in Eastern Europe desire to be the regional center for investments.

Reminding that the strategic partnership has been signed in 2009 between Serbia and China for the goal of strengthening the economic and cultural collaboration, Wei said that Serbia is a very important country in the context of Chinese Belt Initiative and the way in which we have a five-point connectivity.

- Those are political connections, trade connections, financial cooperation, infrastructural cooperation and cultural exchange - he explains.
