Mesihat appeals to restore humanity in sport chanting

Novi Pazar – The Islamic Community of Serbia expressed deep regret over the fact that young lives are increasingly victims of violent fan groups. We are witness, from day to day, that chanting and rooting during sports games has turned into a source of hatred and recruitment of hostility towards others. The meaning of sport is gathering positive energy and affirmation of a healthy competitive spirit. Unfortunately, today we are witness that sports and their games are associated mainly with violence and greed for financial interests. Mesihat calls on all relevant factors acting together to contribute to restoring humanity in sports and the chanting during games.     SANA Agency
