Fiat set to keep car production in Serbia
Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne said on Friday that the company will keep the production of its Fiat 500L model in Serbia.

Speaking at a presentation of the company’s five year plan at its headquarters outside Turin, Marchionne said that there are plans to invest 9 billion Euro into the development of hybrid and fully electric cars, adding that the Fiat 500 is the ideal model for a fully electric car. The 500L and 500X models will get hybrid engines, he said.
The FCA has been one of Serbia’s top exporters for several years.
