New opposition bloc says changes are possible
Political stage in Serbia is not the same anymore and all opposition voters can now hope the changes will happen, said the founders of the opposition bloc Alliance for Serbia ahead of the constituting ceremony scheduled for Sunday afternoon in Belgrade.
In their joint statement, the founders said they did not gather only to remove the government led by the President of Serbia and leader of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) Aleksandar Vucic but to “remove the policy of humiliation >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << of all citizens of Serbia.”
“Fight against the policy of poverty that is conducted by current authorities, free election, independent media, investing in the domestic economy, measures to incite the birth rate and support to families, checking the origin of property and the issue of Kosovo and Metohija – there is no room for our ideological differences. That gives a hope that changes can happen in Serbia,” said the joint statement.
