Belgrade woman arrested in Montenegro: Attacker or victim?
A 20-year-old Belgrade woman was arrested for an alleged attack on a judge in Montenegrin coastal town of Kotor after reportedly being frustrated over a verdict passed on her boyfriend for a traffic offence, N1 reported.
The judge Jelena Stanisic accused Sara Vidak of physically attacking her following the verdict.
Vidak and her family’s members who were in the court denied that and said Stanisic staged the attack to send the woman to jail.

Serbia’s Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic promised Belgrade would not leave the young woman without help, while his Ministry said they had not received any official information from Montenegro about the Vidak’s case yet.
Vidak holds both Serbian and Canadian citizenship.
The case comes after a bitter exchange between Serbia and Montenegro in which Belgrade has accused Podgorica’s authority of discriminating the Serbs, and Montenegro's officials denied the claim.
Serbia’s tabloids report on the case as an example of ethnic hatred, while Tina Popovic, the Podgorica Vijesti daily journalist, said that could happen to a Montenegrin citizen as well since she believed the whole thing had something to do with the judges' complaints about little pay for a hard and dangerous job.
Vidak is sentenced to 30-days imprisonment and is awaiting the ruling on 10,000 Euros bail. If convicted, she faces from six months to five years in prison.
A Canadian embassy representative is supposed to visit her.
