Be brutal Serbian Labour minister tells inspectors
Serbia’s Labour Minister has told labour inspection service chiefs to “be brutal” and punish anyone breaking the law in ways that endanger people’s lives, the FoNet news agency reported on Monday.
“I am giving you a free hand to be brutal towards everyone who is breaking the law and endangering people’s lives,” Minister Zoran Djordjevic said at a meeting with the heads of labour inspectorates from across the country.
“The unregistered worker is not our >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << enemy, whoever abuses workers is,” Djordjevic said.
Djordjevic’s meeting with labour inspectors comes after a construction worker was killed at a construction site in central Belgrade last week.
