No talk of Serbia’s NATO membership
Serbian officials will not be discussing membership in NATO during the visit by Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said on Thursday.
“Jens is a good man. They would probably like us to be a member of NATO but our state position is clear – we do not want to be a member of any military alliance, including NATO. That neutral position remains in place for us,” Dacic said.
He said that Serbia wants to develop all forms of cooperation which are in its interest with military alliances.
