No plans to change NATO mission in Kosovo

NATO is not planning to reduce its troop numbers in Kosovo, KFOR commander Italian General Salvatore Cuoci.

The general told Radio Kontakt Plus that he has more than 4,000 KFOR personnel under his command.

“KFOR is a success story for NATO, one of the longest missions with more than 4,000 personnel on the ground from NATO member and partner >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << states,” Cuoci said.

“I have to confirm that NATO has no plans at this moment to reduce or alter the KFOR mission in Kosovo. KFOR will continue to perform its task in line with UN Security Council resolution 1244 and the Military-Technical Agreement from Kumanovo,” the general said.
