Palestinian Pharmacologists in Visit to Kragujevac
Addressing the guests doctor Damljanovic presented information about Kragujevac culture and history mentioning 200th jubilee from proclamation Kragujevac the capital of new modern Serbia stressing that Kragujevac is first city in many things amongst which first pharmacy opened in Serbia.
Keeping the tradition of friendly relations and partnerships with many European and world cities Kragujevac today is a host of Delegation from Palestine. We have exceptional cultural cooperation >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu Kragujevac.rs << and twinning with oldest Palestinian city Jericho. Many years now Kragujevac is providing a scholarship for students from Palestine and along with the cultural cooperation in education this is an opportunity for establishment of the health protection cooperation, too said Dr Gordana Damljanovic, City Council member in charge of Health and Social Policy.
Along with 9 members of the Palestinian Chamber of Pharmacologists the Delegation is accompanied by 2 doctors with Nader Salajme President of the Association of Graduated Palestinian Students in ex Yugoslavia.
Speaking about the Association Salajme mentioned that the Association is founded more than 10 years ago and within its activities it establishes the contacts with the ex Yugoslavia republics and cities in which the members of Association studied. Nader Salajme added that visiting Serbia, participation in professional congresses and mutual contacts open the possibility for cooperation in the sphere of health.
Having participated in the International Paharmacologists Congress in Belgrade Serbia, Delegation visited Kragujevac and is to attend the ceremony of opening the Health Fair here.
