Kosovo's FM: Belgrade-Pristina talks to finalise by February
Behgjet Pacolli, Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, said on Tuesday that the Belgrade – Pristina dialogue about the normalisation of relations should end by February, the FoNet news agency reported.
Pacolli told the media in Pristina that “the aim is for Serbia to recognise Kosovo’s independence.”
“I don’t know if I can call this an emotional confession, but I guarantee that Serbia will not complicate >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << the building of the country or the freedom of movement of people and goods. Serbia will not obstruct the coexistence of Kosovo with Serbia just like Kosovo coexists with other countries in the region.” Pacolli said.
He asked German Chancellor Angela Merkel to take part in searching for a solution to the problems in the Western Balkans.
“I have always considered that, aside from being a great leader, Angela Merkel is also a genius woman. Her constructiveness, righteousness and power to solve trouble are what make her participation essential in solving the Balkan problems.” Pacolli said.
