Def Min: West doesn't want Serbia to solve Kosovo issue
Serbia’s Defence Minister said on Tuesday the Western countries started for the first time to pay attention to what Belgrade was saying about Kosovo, but added that it was in their interest that Serbia did not solve the issue, the Beta news agency reported.
Aleksandar Vulin said that “it is no one’s but Serbia’s interest to solve the issue of Kosovo and they (the West) all will work against it.”
>> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << />“Great powers will work to prevent Serbia to decide about itself and that there is no solution to the Kosovo problem,” the Defence Ministry statement quoted Vulin as saying.
He added that “no one could even hope” that the Kosovo issue would ever be a subject of a discussion.
“For the powerful Western countries Kosovo is an independent state, and there is nothing to talk about. But now, for the first time, they started paying attention to what Serbia is talking and thinking about. So, it is in everybody’s interest that Belgrade never solves the Kosovo issue, that the country is always blackmailed and that there is (always) something to prevent it for progressing,” Vulin said.
