Three murders, two shootings in 24 hours in Serbia
Serbian media on Monday reported two shootings and two murders in the space of 24 hours in three places across the country.
A Montenegrin national was gunned down in New Belgrade on Sunday and died later in hospital. The media said the man, who was not identified, was linked to organized crime groups involved in drug trafficking in South Africa. The police started an investigation but did not report that the killer was found.
A second shooting took place in the centre >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << of the town of Krusevac just after 1:00 pm on Monday. The 41 year-old man who was shot by two gunmen and died later in hospital.
The third killing took place in the town of Kosjeric where a 35 year-old man stabbed his 38 year-old wife to death. The man was later found hiding in a neighbor’s shed and was arrested.
