Serbia's Vucic: We will work with all Bosnia's leaders
Aleksandar Vucic, Serbia’s President, said on Wednesday that Belgrade would cooperate with all three newly elected members of Bosnia’s tripartite Presidency in good faith, the Beta news agency reported.
Speaking to reporters in Kazakhstan's capital of Astana where he was on a two-day visit, he said he was only familiar with the election results for the Presidency’s members.
“Serbia will work with Bosnia and Herzegovina, with all Presidency's members in good faith. >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Those people were elected in line with that country’s laws, and our job is to respect both those laws and the will of Bosnia’s people,” Vucic said.
He added he would continue to cooperate with the new Bosnian Serb member of the country’s Presidency, Milorad Dodik, whom with “we have a good, rational and successful collaboration,” but also with Sefik Dzaferovic and Zeljko Komsic, the Bosniak and Croat members of the Presidency respectfully, adding he believed that that cooperation would be fruitful.
“That is in the interest of (the Serb-dominated entity in Bosnia) Republika Srpska. I’m sure that will not always be easy, but Serbia must put in additional effort, energy and good faith in trying to improve the relations,” Vucic said.
