Serbia’s Vucic: No one offers us Kosovo’s north
We are far from any offer for the north of Kosovo, Serbia’s President Aleksandar Vucic told reporters on Thursday, adding that “we are far from anything,” the Beta news agency reported.
He added that until recently, Belgrade was not in a position to negotiate any solution since Pristina saw the issue as a done deal.
“We will get more than we had yesterday, both regarding the rights for our people and considering the resources,” Vucic said in the northern >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << town of Zrenjanin where he signed the contract with a Chinese company on building a car tyre factory.
He added anyone who said Serbia could get more in 50 years was not a serious person.
Vucic reiterated he would visit northern Kosovo on September 8 to address people there with his plan about Kosovo, but that the nation would decide on it in a popular vote.
Speaking about Belgrade – Zagreb relations, Vucic said that Serbia fulfilled all 26 Croatia’s demands related to the position of its minority according to the document he signed with Croatian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic on June 20, 2016, known as the Subotica Declaration.
