Serbia’s Commissioner asks govt to act upon his requests
Serbia’s Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection demanded on Friday that the government honour law and execute his requests.

Sabic said he could not get data on Er Serbia donations, sponsorship agreements, subsidies, >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << relieves the company got from the states, free air tickets for the members of the company’s management, bonuses and usage of company’s cars.
The MUP fell short of providing reports that the Police Directorate demanded concerning the Savamala case, and the collective agreements on MUP employees’ insurance, while the Mining and Energy Ministry did not answer the questions about the amount of duty charged for forming oil reserve and money allocated for its purchase.
The Commissioner said that the legal authority he had for a forced execution was blocked in practice.
Since he was not able to carry out his rulings, i.e., to financially punish those responsible, as he said, he requested the government's assistance in implementing the laws.
Sabic added that was the only thing he could do, and said he did not expect the government to do anything.
