Serbian police seize drugs and firearms
The Serbian police seized more than 30 kilograms of narcotics and 20 firearms in a number of operations over the past three days, a press release said on Monday.
The Internal Affairs Ministry press release said that a total of 30.6 kilograms of marijuana, heroin and cocaine had been seized along with more than 200 pills of extasy and other drugs. The police also shut down two marijuana production laboratories in the city of Smederevo.
The press release said 12 different types of rifles had been seized along with eight sidearms and more than 1,800 rounds of ammunition.
