Serbian police arrest two of their own
Two Serbian police officers have been arrested on charges of drug trafficking and selling driver’s licences, the Internal Affairs Ministry said on Wednesday.
Two officers and one civilian were arrested, the press release said and specified that one of the officers was arrested with his son and charged with drug trafficking and illegal arms possession while the second officer was arrested in a separate operation and charged with issuing driver’s licences to people who had not >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << passed their driving tests.
The police in the town of Vrbas seized 2.6 kilograms of marijuana, three pistols, 150 rounds of ammunition and ammo clips and 2,200 Euro when the first officer and his son were arrested while the police in Jagodina arrested one of their own who issued driver’s licences to people who had not taken driving tests.
