Serbian minister wants trees to combat climate change
Planting trees is the best way to combat climate change, Serbia’s Environmental Protection Minister Goran Trivan told a conference of Chinese and European officials.
“Afforestation trees is the simplest, cheapest and most efficient way to combat climate change. It is not expensive and has no altternative in any method known to mankind,” Trivan told a conference on forestry cooperation between China and the countries of central and eastern Europe.
