Serbia set to open two more chapters in EU accession process
Serbia will open two more chapters in its pre-accession negotiations with the European Union, the Serbian government said on Monday.
A press release said that Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimovic would attended the eighth inter-governmental conference in Luxembourg which will open chapter 33 (financial and budgetary provisions) and 13 (fisheries).
Serbia has opened 12 chapters in the negotiations, two of which have been closed temporarily.
Joksimovic said earlier that chapter 33 is important because Serbia is preparing to take part in the joint EU budget while chapter 13 will introduce stimulation to improve fisheries.
