Serbia ready to develop Russian gas pipeline, minister says

Serbia is ready to developed the Turkish Flow gas pipeline project with its neighbours, Energy Minister Aleksandar Antic said in Istanbul on Monday.

A ministry press release said that Antic attended a ceremony at which the presidents of Turkey and Russia, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Vladimir Putin marked the end of construction of a section of the pipeline under the Black Sea. Antic said that the possibility of supplying 10 to 15 billion cubic metres of Russian gas is an opportunity to upgrade the country’s energy security by developing gas-based industrial branches.

Antic met with his Turkish and Azeri counterparts, Fatih Donmez and Parviz Shahbazov for talks on cooperation in the energy industry.
