Serbia is changing fast, and for the better, PM tells CNN
Serbia’s Prime Minister Ana Brnabic told CNN’s Fareed Zakaria in an interview late on Sunday she thought her country was changing, running “very, very fast” in the right direction despite some “wrong perceptions” about it which, she said, had roots in the past.
Asked about her bringing up in Serbia as a gay person, Brnabic said she had support from the family and friends, but in the politics that fact made her life more difficult.
She has added she is targeted >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << on social media, and that those attacks are often disgusting.
“It’s tough, makes my life more difficult. And then it’s harder to do my job since one must focus and be strong enough to ignore things like that and deal with important issues," like what she can do for Serbia’s people.
“From the positive side, I enjoy in every small success which we as the government and the country achieve and that gives me the strength to continue,” Brnabic added.
