SERBIAN FLAG BURNED IN CROATIAN CITY: Accident or intentional setting on fire?

Sisac police confirmed that in Glina, in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, in front of the headquarters of Subcommittee "Serbian Culture Society" Prosveta and the Council of the Serbian minority in Glina, the flag of Serbian minority burned.

Croatian flag burned besides it as well, while the third displayed flag remained undamaged.

Sisak-Moslavina deputy county supervisor from the ranks of the Serbian national minority Boro Rkman condemned the burning of the Serbian >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu Telegraf.rs << flag in Glina and said he does not believe there will be a disruption of relations between Croats and Serbs over the incident and that he expects from the Croatian police to quickly solve the case.

The exact time of flag burning is unknown because the person who reported the incident doesn't know when it precisely happened.

The only thing that is known is that the burned flags were noticed on Tuesday and that the police was informed.

Taking in consideration that the flags were set on the wall of the building, on the 4.5 meter height, it is hard to believe that someone set them on fire from the ground.

Also, considering that a fire broke out on the balcony on the same address where the headquarters of the Serbian national minority are, there is a possibility that no one set the flags on fire intentionally but the spark flew and set the flags on fire.

Sisac police is conducting detailed criminal investigation of the case.

Spokeswoman Natalja Mezak Dolencic states that the connection between the fire on the balcony with the flags on fire of the same building is not excluded.
