Remains of Serbs exhumed in Croatia
The remains of nine Serbs killed during the Croatian military’s operation Storm in 1995 have been exhumed from four graves in Croatia, the Serbian government’s Commission for Missing Persons said on Wednesday.
The operation was launched in the area of Croatia known during the war as the self-proclaimed Republic of Serb Krajina.
The remains were exhumed from graves in Orthodox Christian cemeteries in the Licko-Senjska district and their DNA will be processed for identification.
