President announces higher salaries in healthcare sector
Employees of the Serbian healthcare sector will get significantly higher salaries and this particularly refers to the nurses doing the hardest part of work, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said on Sunday at the opening of a new department of the Belgrade’s Oncology Institute.
“We will continue investing and we are also starting the construction of a new clinical centre in Belgrade,” said Vucic.
According to the president, the departure of physicist and engineers >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << from Serbia pose the biggest problem today, because the country invests a lot in them but is unable to provide them adequate salary afterwards.
Another major problem are nurses who are underpaid for the work they do and, according to Vucic, the situation will change once the salaries for this category are increased.
