One dead in rail accident in southern Serbia
One person was killed on Friday when a passenger train hit a tractor just outside the southern Serbian city of Nis, the Serbian Railways company said in a press release.
The press release said the driver of the tractor died when he was hit by the train travelling from Belgrade to the Bulgarian capital Sofia. It did not specify how the accident happened or who was to blame.
That section of the railway has been closed and trains have been rerouted, the press release said.
