OSCE's Désir glad Serbia's journalist well, asks for details
Harlem Désir, the OSCE representative to Serbia for media freedom tweeted on Friday he was relieved after hearing the news that a missing reporter was found alive and well and asked for detailed information about his disappearance.
Relieved to hear from President @avucic that Stefan Cvetkovic was found alive & well by police. It will be Important to have all information about circumstances of his disappearance!
Désir's request coincided with the demand by the Independent >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Association of Serbia’s Journalists (NUNS) and the Independent Association of Journalists in Vojvodina (NDNV) who have sought answers to where and how Stefan Cvetkovic has been found, in what capacity is he giving a statement and whether he has a lawyer present if he is suspected of anything.
Serbia's Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic told state RTS television that Cvetkovic was safe in the police building where he was giving a statement and that he had all rights, legal help and medical aid, guaranteed.
However, Stefanovic said that the whole story was weird.
