Mysterious disease ravages retirement home in Zagreb, visits FORBIDDEN
Retirement home in Crtakova in Zagreb is still in quarantine due to epidemic of unknown sickness.
The notice about the epidemic of some stomach virus is put on the door of the home, but there is no information on the internet page. M.B. went this week, like every week before, to the home to visit her mother. As soon as she stepped inside she realized something was wrong. They were all wearing masks, and the stench was unbearable.

Scared nurse asked me why i entered when there is a sign on the door saying no entrance - said M.B.
- I live in Zagreb and its not hard for me to go home, but what about those from Moslavina, Slovenia and other parts of Croatia - said M.B.
Retirement home is in quarantine since last week, and it is suspected it is salmonella. According to the unofficial information, 90 per cent of the residents of the home has got the virus. We talked to few medical workers and they all said that stomach virus usually doesn't last that long.
Director of the retirement home, Stefica Karacic, wasn't available for comments.
