Mothers Rule want meeting with Prime Minister
The Mothers Rule (MameSuZakon) organization called Prime Minister Ana Brnabic and her ministers to a meeting on new draft amendments to the law on financial support to children with families.
The draft amendments were submitted to parliament by opposition MP Tatjana Macura prior to a September 25 protest.
“The letter was sent with the intention of openly discussing the bad effects in the implementation of the law on financial support to families with children which >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << took effect on July 1 this year and economically affects a group of women who have become mothers and will sadly affect many others who have yet to become mothers,” the Mothers Rule press release said.
The organization said pregnancy and maternity leave pay should not be lower than the minimum wage.
