More than 4,000 refugees in Serbia
More than 4,000 refugees are housed in Serbia at present and everything has been prepared for the winter, Refugee Commissioner Vladimir Cucic said on Thursday.
Cucic added that a number of migrants are expected to return to Serbia from Bosnia-Herzegovina before the winter.
He said that 3,386 of the total of 4,114 migrants were housed in refugee centres, 359 were housed outside those centres and 336 were in transit in several parts of the country. “The number is the same as in August last year. Their number dropped to below 3,000 between March and May and now we have a little more than 4,000,” the commissioner said.
