Kosovo court president: New prosecutor, better work
The President of the Kosovo war crimes court in The Hague Ekaterina Trendafilova, a Bulgarian lawyer, said on Monday she was “sure” that a new prosecutor would mean a fulfilment of the court’s mandate.
Trendafilova congratulated Jack Smith, an American lawyer recently appointed the chief prosecutor for war crimes committed by the Kosovo Liberation >> Pročitaj celu vest na sajtu N1 televizija << Army in 1998-1999, praising his previous work and experience in criminal investigations and persecutions.
“I’m looking forward to establishing a productive cooperation with Smith and I’m sure that the prosecutor's office will go forward to accomplish its mandate,” Trendafilova said.
